Steve Wozniak: Where is my foldable phone?
Everyone suspected that foldable phones would be shown at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) and that’s what happened.
Folding phones stole the show and took over MWC 2019.
During the congress, Samsung and Huawei both showed consumers what the future has in store for them with the next big evolution in smartphone design. But one company wasn’t on the list – and that was Apple.
Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder, was envious but also concerned because he too wanted his folding phone. He told Bloomberg:
‘Apple has been a leader for quite a long time in a few areas such as touch ID, facial ID and easy payment with the phone. They’re not the leader in areas like the folding phone and that worries me because I really want a folding phone.’
Since then, rumours of Apple getting ready to join the folding phone revolution have started and continue to circulate.
Maybe Wozniak doesn’t have his foldable iPhone just yet, but chances are he won’t have to wait much longer.
