Royal Baby: Collaborate to unify
After only 2 days since the birth, Meghan Markle and Harry have revealed the name of their royal baby. We can congratulate the couple for setting an example of collaboration and successful agreement.
The couple showed solidarity, pushing the boundaries of all conventions and traditions. After waiting a whole week to know the name of William, son of the late Diana and Charles, and a month to know the name of Charles, son of Queen Elizabeth, the couple respected its commitment and named their child two days after his birth.
Partners and inventive, the parents of “Baby Sussex” have chosen a name that perfectly combines the American and British culture, naming their child “Archie Harrison“.
For Archie, the name is of Germanic origin and means “bold” or “brave”. It is very popular in England and Wales and was even ranked 18th in 2017 after being ranked at 192nd place in 1996, according to the Office for National Statistics.
As for his middle name, the couple was inspired by the more frequently used American name Henry Junior, but instead chose Harrison, which means the son of Harry.
The young parents have been able to choose a new and modern name for their child by having enough leeway to overcome the traditional names widely used by the British monarchy.
