New GLPI add-on: access all your tickets directly on eXo Platform

A few weeks ago, we announced our partnership with Teclib, provider of GLPI, the leading open-source solution for IT service and support management.

This solution is used by many clients in the public sector to digitize IT support services, and especially to facilitate the management of hardware renewals and maintenance tickets. The goal was therefore to develop an add-on to enable native integration of GLPI into the eXo Platform digital workplace, and thus provide full management of IT services and support directly from eXo.

Co-built with the city of Lunel, this new add-on has already been set up on the platforms of several local authority customers.

How does it work?

The add-on enables you having a look at your GLPI tickets in eXo Platform

From the widget, you can :

  • View your current requests and tickets, as well as requests and tickets closed in the last 30 days.
  • View the details of each request
  • Create a new request or ticket via a GLPI form. This opens in a dedicated tab.

You can add the GLPI widget to any page of your eXo platform, such as dashboard or home page. The “learn more” button opens a drawer on the right-hand side of the screen to display more details.

You’ll enjoy a smooth, optimized experience with this add-on, just like with any other eXo application.

Availability and licensing

The GLPI add-on is compatible with eXo Platform 6.5 and will also be compatible with later versions. It is distributed under the AGPL license and connects to the version supported by GLPI.

I am the communication manager at eXo Platform. I found myself in communications a bit by chance, but this field brings together everything that pationates me: creativity, energy, meetings, collaborative work, sharing and exchanges of good practices. I need to give meaning to what I do and put people at the center of all my actions.
