Mashups: Publish from eXo ECM to the consumer web with TarPipe

More and more eXo customers want to leverage consumer sites like Flickr, Twitter
, YouTube, Facebook, SlidesShare, FriendFeed to promote new products or corporate messages.

Pushing images from the Digital Asset Managment tool to the public can be complex and time consuming

At eXo, we have found (thanks to our partner FaberNovel) a great tool called TarPipe.

In the next video, I upload an image to eXo ECM. An action – bound to the ECM folder – is launched and send an email to TarPipe with the image as an attachment. Then a workflow (check the video!) in tarpipe pushes the image on my Flickr and FriendFeeds accounts automatically!
