Facebook’s new logo: Because we like yelling online
Facebook is now FACEBOOK.
Facebook unveiled its new all-caps logo this week as a way to unite its brands, bring transparency to its ownership structure, and differentiate itself as a parent company from main apps such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and more.
The new logo will appear on all the apps and is distinct from the blue “Facebook” logo we all know. Capitalization is seen as a way to create a visual distinction between the company and the app.
Facebook CMO Antonio Lucio said about the new logo: “This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership structure to the people and businesses who use our services to connect, share, build community and grow their audiences.”
But let’s just say that the rest of the world does not agree with Facebook and has even made fun of this recent change, as capitalization is considered to be equivalent to SHOUTING in Internet culture. Even Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s CEO, is mocking the new all-caps logo.

We all know that Dorsey would never miss an opportunity to give his opinion about Facebook and Zuckerberg.
