San Francisco, January 27, 2021, – Digital.com, a leading independent review website for small business online tools, products, and services, has named eXo Platform among the best software companies of 2021 for three categories: Intranet, Content Management and portal. The top-ranking solutions were evaluated based on multiple criteria and customer feedback.
1. Intranet software
eXo Platform and other solutions were required to offer tools that can create company-wide communication networks where staff can access training, share assets, and send updates. The study examined solutions that provide private networks that can handle email, browsing, and data transfer. The final list prioritized programs that support integration with existing HR systems or networking tools.
2. Content Management software (CMS)
Content management solutions were evaluated based on their ability to facilitate the publishing and editing of web content, streamline collaboration with a host of collaborative features and make information readily available through indexing, tagging and archiving.
3. Portal software
The evaluated portals were classified following their capacity to cover most of these essential features including but not limited to: Content management, collaborative tools, document control, file sharing, unified search and access controls.
4. Idea Management Software
eXo Platform and other solutions were required to provide tools that enable users to share, comment, and elaborate on ideas. Experts at Digital.com evaluated programs that allow teams to organize different ideas with focused suggestion campaigns, mind mapping, and idea ranking systems. The study also examined integrations with calendars, email, project tracking, file storage, and social media platforms.
