Cartoon of the Week: Elon Musk Sends a Tweet Through Space

Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder, sent a tweet to his nearly 29 million followers from space via Starlink satellite for the first time ever.

“Whoa, it worked!!” he commented right after the tweet.

Elon Musk

It comes as no surprise that Musk would use Twitter to communicate such an achievement as he’s known for being a twitterholic.

Musk’s tweet is an important step for SpaceX as the company has been working on Starlink for years now.

The Starlink project involves the launch of thousands of satellites into orbit around Earth to provide a space-based Internet service on Earth.

The goal of this project is to provide Internet access to the underdeveloped areas of the world where the web is still inaccessible and the coverage isn’t sufficient.!
