The Alpes-Maritimes ADMR is a federation that supports 34 local associations managed by volunteers. It employs highly qualified personnel who support elderly and vulnerable people located across different regions in France. It provides a variety of services including nursing services, childcare and support for families.
ADMR wanted to deploy a collaborative hub that can allow its staff – administrative, on site as well as volunteers – to communicate, collaborate and organize their various daily activities.
The recent Covid-19 pandemic brought a host of new challenges. ADMR needed to comply with strict governmental measures and adapt their policies and procedures to maintain the quality of its services as well as guarantee the safety of both its staff and patients.
eXo Platform was selected as ADMR’s new digital workplace based on two main criteria. On the one hand, the platform’s rich set of social and collaborative features meant that it is able to cover most of the project requirements. On the other hand, since the project was accelerated following lockdown, the project team looked for an out-of-the-box solution that can be easily and quickly deployed.
The platform was deployed within days earlier this year and included 100 engaged users. The use cases for the platform revolved around communication, cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing. ADMR was among the first customers to implement our latest version eXo Platform 6 and experiment with its various features.
