Cartoon of the Week: Instagram and Netflix follow the rhythm of "TikTok"
After Instagram, Netflix is also getting inspired by TikTok and is launching a new mobile feature that gives subscribers the opportunity to get their fill of laughs.
Considering the fast growth and prominence of TikTok in the market right now, it makes sense that other platforms are following in its steps.
And as Netflix considers TikTok to be one of its major competitors, it has to come up with a smart business move to retain its audience and make people stay longer on its platform.
This new feature is called ‘Fast Laughs’ and is now available for iOS device owners. It feels and looks like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Although TikTok and Netflix don’t make the same type of content, the principle is the same: different short clips taken and curated from shows or stand-up plays directly within the Netflix app.
